Interaction Designer

WHAT TO EXPECT

We are looking for an interaction designer, strongly rooted in the digital world, with a passion for designing the best way of using software applications across various platforms, from mobile to mixed reality. Together with software engineers, product owners and other application experts you will concept, design, test, define and build interaction concepts and user interfaces. 

While this position requires high self-sufficiency as it offers responsibility for interaction design in one product area, it is part of a supportive, bigger design team that works with many teams and products. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Create concepts and user interfaces for interaction with software applications across platforms (mobile, desktop, mixed reality, mouse, touch, controller, etc.) 
  • Collaborate with other designers, application experts and other teams 
  • Design highly usable and beautiful software user interfaces (e.g. with the Adobe Creative Suite) 
  • Build mixed reality user interfaces (with Unity) 
  • Document and communicate design guidelines and best practices 

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • Education in interaction design, communication design, media technology/design, visual design or related discipline, or equivalent working experience 
  • Passion for both conceptual work and visual design 
  • Excellent skills with the related tools (e.g. Unity, Adobe Creative Suite) 
  • Great communication skills for a high amount of interaction with a variety of stakeholders 
  • High self-sufficiency and multi-project juggling abilities 
  • Proficiency in English
